Livin' The DreamHello fellow bowling fanatics! My new book, Livin' The Dream: How to Get What You Want, Find True
Meaning and Save the World By Bowling is available at long last...not that you were waiting for it, more like I just finally
finished it.
The book is about my experiences as a junior bowler, my time at the PBA, and my current crazy involvement
in bowling and what those things have taught me about life. There's a lot of great stuff in there about bowling
juniors with Robert Smith, working with Chris Peters and Steve Miller and having dinner with Dick Weber. But even if
you're not a bowling nut, you will still enjoy the read.
The reason I wrote the book was because a few years
back, I was at a really low (I mean really low...Owen Wilson low) emotional point in my life (in spite of having nearly everything
I had ever wanted) and by some stroke of luck (and my sister's advice) I was shown the light. What has resulted
since is another chance and I wanted to share the story with the world in hopes that it might help other people who might
be having a tough time figuring out this crazy thing we call life.
Right now, I'm at Bowl Expo in Orlando,
and tomorrow I'll be giving a speech to a few hundred IBPSIA and USBC attendees about my life and the book. I hope
to have a video of the speech up on this site in the next few days.
I'm also in the midst of retooling
the website so that it is geared around the book and also another program that I'll be working on this summer called Bowling
Appreciation. So you'll definitely want to check back often to see what's new on those fronts.
