MY WRITING
I've always enjoyed writing and telling
stories...especially when it comes to bowling. I just never thought I'd do it for a living. After graduating from UCLA in
1998 with a degree in English Lit and then doing absolutely nothing with it for ten years (I guess it did help contribute
a little to my moderately successful career in Marketing and Sales at the PBA and then at Shell Consumer Products) I decided
to quit what I was doing and write a book. This crazy idea led me back into the world of bowling, where I now write for the
biggest bowling website in the world, pba.com.
My writing style is fast-paced and irreverent...kind
of a mix between the late David Foster Wallace and beloved sportswriters Rick Reilly and Mitch Albom. People have said they
enjoy my writing for its honesty and for its unique perspective that often grasps at (and sometimes attains) a larger relevance
